EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE OF PATIENTS WITH BRONCHIAL ASTHMA AND A GROUP PSYCHOTHERAPY PLAN IN 7 STEPS*

REZUMAT Este binecunoscut faptul că emoţiile puternice, fie pozitive, fie negative, ca şi vulnerabilitatea faţă de stres reprezintă adesea factori importanţi în declanşarea, menţinerea şi accentuarea simptomatologiei astmului bronşic. Pe un lot de 99 de pacienţi diagnosticaţi cu astm bronşic alergic persistent, moderat şi sever de mai bine de 2 ani am aplicat un test de inteligenţă emoţională, testul de personalitate NEO PI R pus la dispoziţie de D&D Consultants şi am elaborat un formular de analiză psihosocială a astmului prin intermediul căruia am evaluat frecvenţa simptomelor fizice, intensitatea stărilor afective negative apărute în timpul sau ulterior crizei şi nivelul calităţii vieţii pacienţilor. În prima ipoteză am presupus că dacă nivelul inteligenţei emoţionale creşte, acest fapt va avea o influenţă pozitivă semnificativă asupra gestionării stărilor afective negative apărute în timpul sau ulterior crizei şi asupra calităţii vieţii pacienţilor. Aceasta s-a infirmat, corelaţiile dintre variabilele menţionate fiind nesemnificative. În cea de-a doua ipoteză, am presupus că există corelaţii semnificative pozitive între coeficientul de inteligenţă emoţională şi factorii extraversie, agreabilitate, deschidere, conştiinciozitate şi o corelaţie semnificativă negativă între coeficientul de inteligenţă emoţională şi factorul nevrozism. Această ipoteză s-a confirmat în totalitate.

STRUCTURA REPREZENTĂRII SOCIALE A PUTERII LA ADOLESCENŢI

Abstract The phenomenon of power is present in the life of the teenager at least as much as in the other ages; the holders might be parents/family, teachers/school, friends (the company), information, idols, etc. Towards these, the teenager reacts either by attitudes of acceptance and compliance or by outrage and indignation. That is why it is interesting to study power from the teenager's perspective,
considering the permanent conflict between this character and whoever might exert it on him. On the one hand, this study intends to identify the structure of the social representation of power in teenagers
by using the free association method and setting any possible differentiation by biological gender and their prevalent conduct, identified thanks to a self-characterising questionnaire. On the other hand, the
study has in view to examine the results of the comparative analysis with the results from earlier studies carried out on the same social item, but applied to other categories of age.

IMPLICAŢIA LOCULUI CONTROLULUI ÎN STRUCTURA PERSONALITĂŢII. STUDIU PE FUNCŢIONARI PUBLICI

Abstract This study examines the relevance of locus of control within the administrative officers group’s personality from central administration. After the application of certain psychological questionnaires based on the specific of administrative activity, it can be observed that the respective group emphasizes its features through: ambivalence in the belief of behavioral control, middle creative motivation, low vocational implication, introversion and emotional stability, etc. On this background, locus of control hasn’t a special meaning in the personality of the administrative officers; it influences the inovative intelligence and creative motivation through its component, cognitive interests.

Abstract This research is going to evaluate some of personality dimensions which can influence the level and manifestations of stress; we study empathy, extraversion and neuroticism in a group with many professional categories and peoples from both genders. The objectives of this research were referring to the existence of some correlations between empathy, extraversion, neuroticism and stress.

 PROFILUL FAMILIEI CU UN PĂRINTE CU SNC AFECTAT ACUT. I. FUNDAMENTARE TEORETICĂ

Abstract The study aims theoretically the special needs of families with a spinal cord/traumatic brain injured parent through the identification of the post-traumatic changes in the family system. The practical objective describes the pilot degree of functioning of the precocious prevention on psychopathology as a long term effect for the children in these families. Unlike the normal families, the injured patient families express the suffering of a troubled system. The children in these families have a psychiatric risk through a grown tendency towards internalization/externalization and total problems. The effects of the stressing event can decrease through psychological counseling, the coping strategies become more efficient and the family’s functionality and health get better.

MODELE PARENTALE RELEVATE ÎN TABLOURI FAMILIALE – ABORDARE NOMOTETICĂ

Abstract The psychological study of the modern family is concerned about both the effects of the parent-child interactions upon the development of the child and the ways of optimizing these interactions through training programs meant to lead to the achievement of “parental proficiency”. This study is intended to contribute to the above-mentioned domain by updating and reorganizing the existing knowledge in accordance with the integrative-interactionist approach. In order to further clarify the complex image of the contemporary family, the study introduces the concept of “parental models” and describes seven of these parental types: six of them portrait dysfunctional situations (the authoritarian, indulgent, protective, inconstant, neglectful and aggressive parents) while the seventh (the proficient parent) reveals the optimal situation and is meant to represent a factorial model of parental proficiency. Also, the study analyses the main features that determine the efficiency of the parent-child relation, grouping them in the categories of socio-cultural, socioeconomical, psycho-individual and psycho-inter-individual features.

Reprezentanţi ai teoriei bioconstituţionale a personalităţii

Abstract The article aims at underlining three major moments in the history of the theories about temperament and personality, represented by Hippocrates and Galen, Khretschmer and Sheldon. Hippocrates and Galen dominated Antiquity and the Middle Ages, correlating temperament with corporal humours, natural elements and the astrological planets. Starting from the major psychiatric entities, circular mania and schizophrenia, E. Kretschmer establishes three somatic types: leptosom, athletic and picnic with their correspondents in temperament,  cyclothymia and schizothymia. V.H. Sheldon associates the somatic element with the temperament, each of them having three specific components.
